Where Pets Are Family

Alternative Medicine

The goal of medicine is to improve and maintain the health of the patient. It does not matter if we use conventional medicine or alternative medicine as long as we are able to improve the health of our patient. The truth is all forms of medicine have their strengths and their weakness. In some cases, one form of medicine may provide better results than a different form. Often combining different forms of medicine, however, gives the best results.

With this in mind, Dr. Loden has completed the training provided by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. Dr. Loden has meet requirements to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA). Acupuncture is being used as a regular treatment modality at Cornerstone Animal Hospital, now.

Prolotherapy is an exciting method we are now using to treat many tendons and ligaments injuries without surgery. The benefits to the patient is the avoidance of a major surgery and of cost a major cost saving for the caretakers.

Pain is A Common Problem

New approach to pain using noninvasive laser therapy

Chronic pain is the most common problem pets are faced with each day, yet chronic pain is commonly neglected and ignored by many people. In this day and age when there are both traditional pain therapy and alternative pain therapy to manage pain, there is not any reason our pets should have to suffer.
