ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center
Our pets, often by accident, will eat and ingest the strangest things. The best source of information of whether you need to be concerned about toxic effects is the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. If you call us about many common household items and plants, we can answer your questions about potential problems. In cases where we do not know the answer or if you prefer to call them initially, we recommend the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. The APCC is your best resource for any animal poison-related emergency, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. (Please note while many local and regional poison control centers will try to help you, it is our experience they often provide incorrect information causing harm to your pets.)
If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, you may reach the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435. A $60 consultation fee may be applied to your credit card.

CVM
CVM is short for Christian Veterinarian Missionaries. CVM is dedicated to using veterinary medicine to help people improve their lives by teaching them how to treat and provide proper care for livestock. In addition, they use this as an opportunity to share the story of Jesus. CVM was the dream of one veterinarian in 1964. The Seattle based organization is currenly involved with both long term and short term mission work. Both Doctors have been involved with supporting CVM as well as participating in their program. Dr. Loden has been involved in short term mission trips. Dr. Conrad served on the Board of Directors of CVM helping plan and oversee their world-wide mission effort. CVM, based out of Seattle, is dear to Dr. Conrad and Dr. Loden because it is an opporunity to make a difference with their profession. In addition, many of their friends are actively serving. For more information feel free to ask the Doctors or visit CVM.

Life Choices
Locally, one of our favorite groups to support is Life Choices. Dr. Loden and Dr. Conrad have been blessed with a large family. For both Doctors there is not anything more precious than life itself. They are thankful for an organization in the community that gently and lovingly reminds people how precious life is and helps folks explore options that helps to maintain that life

Kitchenfun
Dr. Conrad keeps busy managing her large household and professional career. In the midst of all this activity, she has found that a good stress release for her is cooking. She works with Pampered Chef, having cooking parties with other ladies. The evening or afternoon of cooking and socialzing with other ladies is a perfect stress release from the pressure of family and career.
