Rebecca Conrad, DVM

Dr. Conrad grew up in central Kansas as the daughter of a wheat farmer. After graduating from Haven High School, she attended Kansas State University. While attending KSU, she was accepted to the College of Veterinarian Medicine where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine. After receiving her degree, she completed an internship in radiology at KSU. Once Dr. Conrad finished her internship, she joined Dr. Loden as part of the veterinarian staff at the Southwest Emergency Hospital in Stafford, Texas. In 1985, she arrived in Joplin to assume the responsibility for the newly named Cornerstone Animal Hospital along with Dr. Loden.

Dr. Conrad believes that in order to offer the latest and current  therapy for her patients, continuing education and advanced training is very important. While Dr. Conrad is required to complete ten hours of continuing education each year, she completes well over thirty hours each year while only working part time.

In addition to working part time at Cornerstone Animal Hospital, Dr. Conrad is busy raising her eight children. Dr. Conrad is actively involved in her church and volunteer work. She also enjoys her multiple flower beds.
